North Bullitt Sophomore Dalton Cissell made it 4 consecutive games of gaining over 200 yards rushing as North defeated Fairdale 42-18 Friday night. Cissell is poised to break North's single-season rushing mark of 1,785 yards set by Kevin Crisp in 1996 next week vs. Atherton at home. Cissell now has 1,659 yards on the year and 2,685 yards through the 1st 19 games of his varsity career. He is averaging 8.8 yards per carry this season and 8.1 for his career. He will also get his name in the state record book for his 99 yard TD run vs. Jeffersontown earlier this year.
Not bad for a sophomore. BTW - taking advanced classes and had 4 A's and 2 B's on first report card of the year!
